Token Economy
Core Roles and Uses
Governance: DLC holders participate in votes on key platform policies (such as protocol fees, marketing budgets, token lock‑up schedules, and sale ratios).
Liquidity Provision and Staking: Staking DLC grants priority access to Genesis Gate projects, discounts on trading fees, and eligibility for additional airdrops.
Community Rewards: Active contributions on Diverge Board and participation in DAO operations are rewarded with DLC tokens, incentivizing continuous community involvement. Here, participation in DAO operations does not simply mean holding DLC tokens or voting; rather, it refers to actively proposing and implementing initiatives to improve the platform through concrete and proactive engagement.
Business Model and Revenue Structure
Project Registration Fees: A fee (in DLC or stablecoins) is charged when a project registers through Genesis Gate.
Recommended Project Screening Fees: Projects seeking additional exposure and benefits may need to deposit a fraction of tokens or pay an extra fee when applying for Recommended Project status.
Data Analytics and Advertising Revenue: Revenue is generated via premium analytics (advanced metrics and APIs) provided by Diverge Analytics, as well as through advertising on community boards.
Staking and LP Fees: A portion of trading fees generated on BSC-based DEXs (such as PancakeSwap) is allocated as platform revenue and reinvested into the DAO or used for community rewards. When platform revenue is reinvested into the DAO, it is used to improve the ecosystem through activities such as platform enhancement, marketing rewards, and community engagement incentives, and cannot be individually distributed to DAO members or DLC holders.
Token Distribution and Management Policy
DLC tokens are distributed among the team, DAO treasury, community rewards, marketing funds, and other channels.
Token economics, including lock-up schedules, sale ratios, and reward distribution methods, are recorded on-chain using BSC-based smart contracts during project registration and can later be modified via DAO voting. In this case, reward distribution refers to allocations for platform activation purposes, such as marketing budgets and incentives for Diverge Board content contributors. However, the DAO cannot make decisions to distribute its assets, including DLC tokens, directly to individual DAO members or DLC holders.
